Chilli Nachos

This is a great alternative way to serve my good old fashioned chilli but if you don't have any chilli then try using salsa, barbecue sauce or chilli sauce - experiment, once you have the basics of tortilla chips with cheese and crème fraiche it is pretty hard to ruin this dish.  I serve this with some mashed up avocado on the side and a large glass of red wine.

Although I should probably mention that a large glass of red wine is pretty much the ideal accompaniment to all the Twilight Chef's recipes!

I bag of tortilla chips
Left over chilli
Crème fraiche
Grated Cheese

Pre-heat the oven to 200 Degrees.

Sprinkle a few of the tortilla chips in an oven proof dish.

Dollop some chilli, crème fraiche and grated cheese over the top.

Continue layering until the tortilla chips are finished.

Top with an extra layer of crème fraiche and lots of grated cheese.

Put in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the chips are browning.

Serve with lots of napkins!

I did open a blogger account almost one month ago but have been a bit lazy about posting. I shall definitely work on it soon. Thanks for crossing the blogging platforms!!!
